Tanya McCaskill-Dickens is the owner of Savor the Moment Dessert Bar in Greensboro and High Point which are known for their trademarked signature Crunch Cheesecakes.

She also authored and published “Raising Generational Entrepreneurs: The Keys to Building a Legacy” and holds a degree in Cultural Studies from North Carolina A&T State University.

Recognized as a business leader, Tanya has received several accolades, including Women of the Year and Family Business of the Year.

Nailah Newkirk is the CEO of N’Joyee Designs which specializes in turning ideas into reality. This young serial entrepreneur started her first business venture at 9 years old with an idea that has grown into three thriving businesses.

James Dickens

Attorney Dickens is a graduate of Morehouse College and Duke University Law School. He has practiced law for 30+ years. For the last 15 years, he has been employed with the City of Greensboro. He is responsible for reviewing contracts for various City Departments.

James will be teaching Contract Principles for Entrepreneurs

Meyakka Sturdivant

Meyakka “MeMe” Sturdivant is the CEO and Founder of MS Consulting Solutions. Community social justice advocate. Diversity and Inclusion innovator, supporting women, youth, and men in entrepreneurship. Through her coaching and consulting, creative content solutions, minority contract and certification services for entrepreneurs and business leadership development training. Mother of two amazing children and just a joyous spirit to know.

Rebecca Dickens

Rebecca is the author of “How to Survive the Expectation of Greatness.” She received the Presidential Scholarship to attend High Point University in the fall to study entrepreneurship. She plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of her family’s business, Savor the Moment Dessert Bars, and is also a website and app designer.

Cassie Richardson

Cassie Richardson is an accomplished Digital Marketing Specialist in Greensboro, NC with over 5 years of experience in creating and executing effective marketing strategies across social media, content creation, and email marketing. Known for her creative-driven approach, Cassie has driven significant growth in her current role as Marketing Manager for Downtown Greensboro Inc, such as organically doubling their Instagram following by 20,000 people in less than a year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising with a minor in Marketing and Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology from Appalachian State University.

Charnelle Shephard

Charnelle Shephard is the CEO of C4U Educational Services LLC with over 20 years of experience in education. She has a passion for helping to guide kidpreneurs throughout their entrepreneurial journey. She serves as a community advocate for networking and promotes educational programming within Guilford County.

Charnelle will be teaching Crafting Entrepreneurial Opportunities to Build Community.

Demetrius Ponder

Mr. Ponder is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and Wake Forest School of Banking. He has been a banker for 20 years-Specializing in Business Banking and Business Lending. After working for BB&T/Truist for many years, he currently works with Pinnacle Bank as a Client Services Advisor. His passions are financial literacy, helping business owners gain access to capital/resources and affordable housing initiatives.
